Caught our limit of sea trout last week. That is four per fisherman. If you ask me, I will even tell you where we caught them. They are delicious to eat fresh. We have caught a total of forty one of them, so far, this winter.
Had my best day ever catching these king mackerel. Twenty nine of these, fishing with my good friend and previous client, Joe. They just wore us out.
This is the biggest boat I have seen in our marina. The crew is from South Africa, the boat is registered in London, the owner is from Mexico and the boat is based in Fort Lauderdale. It is eighty feet long.
This is actually hurricane Irene, but it looks exactly like Mathew. There was no serious damage in St James and no houses damaged at all. Only a lot of tree branches to clean up. Mathew went directly over us with winds up to sixty MPH. Our building code calls for 120MPH windows and the house walls and roofs are tied to the foundation.
Heading out to go grouper fishing in a few more days. I am not too good at it, so I will ask for a little (maybe a lot) of help from a good friend, who is very good. We did it a year ago and had a great day. Need to refill our freezer.
I am taking my grandson to Bald Head Island to climb the lighthouse. So I call the marina office and ask them to put my boat in by 10am. No sweat.
