As a “Buyers Agent” I represent you and only you as a possible buyer of property here. I do not represent the seller or the developer. All the commissions are paid by the sellers, so that my efforts cost you nothing. I do not take listings so that I am not tempted to steer you to any particular property. I promise to help you find the best possible property for your needs. In simple terms, I am on your side.
The founders course at St.James Plantation is a masterpiece designed by P.B. Dye. It is a challenge for all levels of golfers and a favorite course for the area.
The founders course upgrading is complete and reopened with a shot gun start last week. So golfers have all 84 holes available again. All four courses are in great shape and ready for you to play. The par 72 layout showcases water hazards, marshes, pot bunkers and undulating greens, and plays to 7,016 yards. In addition to the golf course, you will find putting greens, fully stocked pro shop, golfer pros, and clinics to help you with your game!
These are some of the nicest courses in the Carolina’s. Golf is extremely popular here in the Carolina’s due to the mild weather and all the willing participants throughout the St.James Neighborhood.
SSt James Plantation was alive all week. The beach club was swimming, the golf courses were hitting, the tennis courts were swinging the boaters were cruising and the fishermen were catching. So many kids and grandkids out having a great time with smiles on the faces of all us grandparents. That is me covered with sand.
St James is a guarded gate community. Property owners use their electronic pass to open the gates. All others check in with the gatehouse guards. We have three guarded entrances and the fourth gatehouse will open late March. We do enjoy the security within St James.
Just because it is winter does not mean outside activities stop. Most weeks have at least two days with temperatures in the sixties. Tennis and biking are in full swing on the nice days. Golf frequently begins with shotgun starts at ten o’clock, but all four courses are very busy, almost every day. No excuse for sitting inside.
All the courses are open all Winter long. The fairways and greens are overseeded and green, while the rough is brown. Most winter days have a shotgun start at 10AM in case of overnight frost. Most weeks have two or more days when the temperature gets into the sixties. You can always spot the visitors from Canada, because they still are wearing shorts.
